Appointment of Finance Director

Eruma plc, the AIM traded specialist provider of counter terrorism, bomb blast protection, intruder prevention and intelligent lighting solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Tilman as Finance Director (‘FD’), with effect from 1 October 2010. David’s extensive experience in driving improvements in operational profitability will be highly valuable as the Company continues to focus its strategy on becoming a leading UK provider of security and lighting products.

David is a Chartered Accountant with broad experience of handling complex transactions, including acquisitions and mergers, for a range of major property and housing companies. David’s CV includes senior financial roles spanning over 20 years with Caradon Plc, Meyer International Plc, Linden Holdings Plc and Galliford Try Plc (‘Galliford’).

His most recent appointment was with Galliford’s, house building business, with a turnover of £400 million, where he was appointed Divisional FD having overseen the integration of Linden Holdings PLC, where he was Group Finance Director.  In this role, David established bank funding for several major joint ventures.

David invested £135,000 in the Company’s recent placement, representing 1,500,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 9.6 % of the Company’s total voting rights.
