Eruma plc, the AIM traded specialist provider of counter terrorism and burglary protection products and emergency lighting, announces that Mr. David E. Alexander, previously a Non Executive Director, has been appointed as Non Executive Chairman of the Board with immediate effect. Mr. Alexander replaces Mr. Philip Barnet, who will continue to serve as a NonExecutive Director and as a member of the remuneration committee.
David is Managing Director of SolutionsMTD Limited, a strategic advisory business, which focuses on business acceleration through organic development, new market entry and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, from January 2003 to May 2005 he was Group Development Director of Computacenter plc, a London Stock Exchange listed European provider of IT infrastructure services. From June 1998 to December 2000 he served as Director of Strategy and Marketing at Northgate Information Solutions plc, a UK provider of specialist software, outsourcing and information technology services. Mr. Alexander’s appointment has been undertaken in light of his expertise and leadership in strategy development, execution and acquisition, which the Board believes will be invaluable during Eruma’s next phase of development and growth. The Company aims to achieve this growth through a mixture of organic growth and potential complimentary
acquisitions.
