Illuminex Lighting Contract Wins

Eruma plc, the AIM traded specialist provider of counter terrorism, intruder prevention products and intelligent lighting, is pleased to announce that it has won three contracts valued at circa £200,000 through its intelligent lighting division, Illuminex.  The contracts will see Illuminex’s energy saving lighting solutions installed at three public sector facilities: a Police Authority, a foundation school in Essex, and an NHS facility in Kingston. 

Additionally, Eruma has signed a partnership agreement with Concept Energy Solutions Ltd (‘Concept Energy’), a consultancy with expertise in energy and carbon management, to help meet increasing demands for energy assessments. Concept Energy’s monitoring software can measure energy usage in real-time and has the ability to identify areas where wastage can be addressed in line with CRC Energy Efficiency Schemes. 

Eruma Chairman David Alexander said, “The whole team is focussed on building sales so we are delighted to have won these contracts, which represent over ten times the total order value for the comparable period for Illuminex in 2010. As these sales highlight, interest from organisations within the public sector is growing, further strengthening the credibility of our products as energy saving solutions. 

“We are also pleased to be working with Concept Energy, which offers support solutions to monitor energy usage in real-time. Over recent months we have seen a heightened demand for energy assessments across the corporate and public arenas, which this partnership will now help us to fulfil.”
